NameArama.com provides Escrow Services as part of our full Domain Name transfer / auction management services.
This covers the transfer of domain registration for domestic transactions.
In any transaction involving the transfer of real or intangible assets, Escrow can assist as a safeguard to protect your interests and ensure that the transaction is completed successfully.
Escrow is automatically included as a necessary step in any domain auction sale which occurs on NameArama.com.
Escrow - Site Transactions In any sale which originated from, or was arranged through, our Web Site,
the transaction automatically goes into Escrow once the Seller formally accepts a Buyer's offer for a
Domain Name. Both parties will be notified and kept informed of the Escrow process.
The Seller pays the corresponding Escrow fee, in addition to the transfer fee due.
In a transaction involving multiple Domain Names, additional fees may apply.
Our fee structure is provided above within the pricing schedule.
The steps in the Escrow Process are as follows:
• Seller Purchases Domain Name with NameArama.com
• Seller places registered domain name within NameArama.com Auction.
• Seller Accepts the highest Bid Amount
• Buyer confirms the winning Bid
• NameArama.com admin is notified of buyers winning bid and attempt to transfer intended domain name to new owner.
• Seller and Buyer both receive a message to start "Escrow Process"
• In the "NameManager" Section of site the seller will receive a populated (non-editable) form containing seller information for registered domain and buyer (new owner) info for intended information transfer in domain ownership.
• The buyer will receive an electronic invoice from NameArama.com the invoice can either be paid using the following methods: Check, Money Order, Certified Check, or Credit Card.
• When the buyer enters the method of payment and full balance is received to NameArama.com the seller will be notified and the name will be systematically transferred minus all necessary transfer fees.
• Thus, you will have two satisfied parties.
